Michel Gros 2005, Fevre 2005, Saint Joseph 1994 and Cos d’Estournel 2000. All beautiful. #finewinesafari Jasper Raats at @longridgewineestate older brother of @bruwer_raats of @raatsfamilywines is making some incredibly characterful wines, like this delicious The Silk Weaver Sangiovese. Notorious for not co-operating outside of Italy, Jasper has tamed this Sangiovese fruit and produced an utter delight! 🍷💪🏻#finewinesafari @jasperraats_wines #sangiovese #stellenbosch #95points @museumwines Situated in South Africa’s breathtakingly pretty Robertson wine region, Graham Beck has firmly established itself as a premier global benchmark for Cap Classique quality, the country’s prestigious traditional method sparkling wine style. Crafted on a unique estate defined by limestone-rich soils and extreme diurnal temperature swings, these world-class bubblies showcase an exceptional balance of bright acidity, vibrant fruit profiles, and complex depth. #finewinesafari The 8th release of @sakkie_mouton_family_wines Revenge of the Crayfish 2025 is out and it’s another impressive wine from the West Coast. Review and rating now live at www.gregsherwoodmw.com on #finewinesafari #koekenaap @cheninblancsa #cultclassic Alkina is a modern luminary of the Barossa Valley, established in 2015 by Alejandro Bulgheroni and Amelia Nolan. Named after an Indigenous Australian word for “moon” or “moonlight,” the estate is defined by a profound respect for the land’s 700-million-year-old geology. Located in the Greenock sub-region, Alkina focuses on certified organic and biodynamic viticulture. Their groundbreaking “Polygon” project maps micro-terroirs to produce site-specific Grenache and Shiraz. By utilizing minimal-intervention techniques—including concrete tulips and amphorae—Alkina crafts vibrant, ethereal wines that swap traditional Barossa “heaviness” for structural elegance, mineral clarity, and a soulful connection to country. #finewinesafari A real dinner treat tonight. The second wine of #screamingeagle from 2020. Merlot based, this wine was fresh, fleshy and well composed. Very impressive but then again, sometimes less is more when it comes to second wines like The Flight! #finewinesafari
