A sensational new, pure Pinotage… in theory one barrel from Mick Craven and one Barrel from Craig Hawkins, blended together.
Tasting Note: Shows a lifted nose of peppered strawberries, vanilla ice cream, raspberries lightly trodden by cherubs and sweet plums skins that have been massaged off the flesh and pip. Palate is bright, crisp, pithy and fleshy… spicy, gravelly and vibrantly fresh. Shows touches of baked plums, raspberry confit and hint of chalk board duster minerality. Frivolously serious. One glass leaves you wanting more Clint! (Wine Safari Score: 92/100 Greg Sherwood MW)
Sadly, this might be, or should I say, was, the only bottle in the Northern Hemisphere! Apparently, this Clint is so fine, it’s reserved solely for the Japanese market. Just when you thought you were gonna get lucky…
